Asia’s largest food exhibition took place at Bitec Bangna in Bangkok last week. The show was full of innovative food products and technical experts exchanging ideas about the latest food trends. Take a look and see what you might have missed.

Jebsen & Jessen Ingredients receives Brand Loyalty award

Jebsen & Jessen Ingredients has been a loyal participant and exhibitor at Food Ingredients Asia since 2006. Every year, the team takes the opportunity, both in Bangkok & Jakarta, to present their latest products and technology to regional customers.

A great number of people work diligently behind the scenes to make these exhibitons a success. They coordinate between the different regional teams, international technology partners, booth designers, and of course exhibiton hosts. The application experts from Jebsen & Jessen Ingredients’ Consumer Innovation Centre tirelessly design, test, and readjust their innovative prototypes, until they are just right. And the many team members often spend time till the late hours to be on-site, discuss, learn, and support visitors who have questions.

Food Ingredients Asia is a fantastic place to bring people together, and so the last 13 years have been a blast for us. It is therefore a great honour for us to have been selected as one of the winners of the Food Ingredients Asia Brand Loyalty award.

Our vegan burger formulation combines plant-based non-GMO sourced protein with a juicy meat-like texture and fine vegan beef flavour.

Jebsen & Jessen Ingredients and Sacco System sign distribution agreement

During the show Marc Deschamps, Regional Managing Director of Jebsen and Jessen Ingredients, signed an exclusive distribution contract to promote Sacco System cultures in Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia/Singapore and Myanmar. This gives Jebsen and Jessen Ingredients’ customers access to Sacco System’s wide range of cultures for yoghurt and cheese. Sacco System is an Italian biotech company that has positioned itself in the international market since 1934, as a producer and partner in research, production and packaging of selected frozen and lyophilized, microbial cultures. Sacco System’s cultures are adapted to both spooning and drinking yoghurts as well as for the production of probiotic products.

Jebsen and Jessen Ingredients will also be importing the Sacco System range of cheese cultures mainly aimed at Mozzarella cheese for pizza. Other cultures for hard and soft cheese will also be available for advanced cheese production. Jebsen and Jessen Ingredients were joined during the show by Graham Sutherland, master cheese maker and industry expert as well as Sacco System Export director Luigi Rossi.
